According to the notification issued by the Finance Ministry on Wednesday, the interest rate in the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana remains at 8.2 percent. The interest rate for three-year time deposits is also unchanged. The interest rate is 7.1 percent. There is no change in the popular savings scheme Public Provident Fund. The interest rate in PPF remains at 7.1 percent. The interest rate on Post Office Savings Deposit has been maintained at 4 percent.

The interest rate on Kisan Vikas Patra is also unchanged. The interest rate there is 7.5 percent. The investment tenure is 115 months. The rate of return on National Savings Certificate remains at 7.7 percent.
There has been no change in the Monthly Income Scheme (MIS). Like the previous quarter, the interest rate on the monthly income scheme will remain at 7.4 percent in the fourth quarter. The same rate will be effective in the last three months of the current financial year.

The central government reviews the interest rates of small savings schemes every quarter. After that, a notification is issued. The same rule has been followed in this case too, PTI reported.

The interest rate on post office savings deposits is 4 percent.
The interest rate on one-year time deposits (TD) is 6.9 percent. For two years, it is 7 percent. For three years, it is 7.1 percent. The interest rate on five-year time deposits is 7.5 percent.

The interest rate on five-year recurring deposits (RD) is 6.7 percent. The interest rate on senior citizen savings scheme is 8.2 percent.
