Gold Rate Today: After falling for three consecutive days, gold and silver prices rose again today, March 9th. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of 24-carat gold has risen by ₹817 to reach ₹1.60 lakh. Earlier on Friday, its price was ₹1.58 lakh per 10 grams. Earlier on Friday, its price was ₹158,751. Today, it has become costlier by ₹817.

Furthermore, the price of 995 purity gold remains at ₹158,929 per 10 grams. It should be noted that on Friday, its price was ₹158,115. Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver has risen by ₹2,080 to ₹2.63 lakh. Previously, its price was recorded at ₹2.60 lakh per kilogram on Friday.

According to IBJA, the price of one kilogram of silver remains at ₹262,803 per kilogram today. Last Friday, it was selling for ₹260,723 per kilogram. Today, the price of silver has increased by ₹2,080 per kilogram.

The Multi Commodity Exchange’s silver futures price, expiring on May 5th, was recorded at Rs 2,68,285 per kilogram on Friday, the last trading day. However, it fell sharply to Rs 2,60,743 upon opening. 1 kg of silver became cheaper by Rs 7,542.
