Gold Rate Today: A day before Christmas, gold and silver prices have risen again. Gold prices in the country are experiencing a significant surge. Today, gold reached an all-time high. The cost of 22-carat gold is up ₹350 per 10 grams today. A strong trend is being observed in both the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) and COMEX markets. In three days, the price of 24-carat gold has increased by ₹4380 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold has become more expensive by ₹4010. After a day of stability, one kilogram of silver has become ₹9100 more costly in three days.
Gold prices in the Indian market also depend on domestic demand. Gold purchases increase significantly during festivals, weddings, and auspicious occasions. When demand is high and supply is limited, a price increase is natural.
In the bullion market, the price of 24-carat gold remains at ₹139080 per 10 grams. A day earlier, gold was trading at ₹138700 per 10 grams. Today, the price of 22-carat gold is surging. In the bullion market, the cost of 22-carat gold remains at ₹127500 per 10 grams, up from ₹127150 the previous day. In addition, the price of 18-carat gold has also increased. Today, in the bullion market, the cost of 18-carat gold is ₹104350 per 10 grams, up from ₹104060 the previous day.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold prices are trading at ₹138608 per ten grams. As of 10:24 AM, gold was trading higher by Rs 723 on MCX.
Silver Price on MCX
