2. Check mobile number
It’s becoming increasingly common that fraudsters are adding their own mobile numbers and account numbers to the benefits of government schemes instead of the farmer’s. Therefore, check your status immediately. Visit the PM Kisan Yojana portal, click on “Know Your Status” and verify your information using your mobile number. Also, check whether the bank account number and mobile number linked to your PM Kisan Yojana are correct. If you find any discrepancies, have them corrected immediately.
3. Whether the bank account is active or not
It’s also being seen that many farmers opened bank accounts under the PM Jan Dhan Yojana. Now, e-KYC is being done again. If your account hasn’t been e-KYCed, go to the bank and get it done first. Otherwise, your money will be stuck. Also, check whether the mobile number linked to your bank account and the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is active. If it’s not active, change it immediately.
