PM Kisan Yojana – Farmers registered under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are now awaiting the next instalment. The next instalment will be the 22nd instalment of this scheme. On November 19, 2025, the government transferred the 21st instalment of ₹2,000, benefiting 9 crore farmers.
It is expected that the next instalment will be released before Holi, i.e., in the last week of February. The installation was initiated in 2019. Since then, instalments,000 have been transferred every four months. Thinstalmenting was implemented to help farmers economically progress and protect them from fertiliser debt. The benefits of the instalment are being given to eligible farmers.
When will the next instalment arrive?
The next instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana may be released by February 28, 2026. All farmers are eagerly awaiting this instalment. Regarding the 19th instalment, it was released on February 24, 2025. However, the release date for the instalment has not yet been officially determined.
Media reports are making similar claims. To receive the 22nd instalment, certain necessary steps will be required. Failure to comply with the rules will result in the instalment amount being withheld. The 21st instalment also saw the funds of such negligent farmers stuck.
How can farmers complete their e-KYC?
Farmers enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can easily complete their e-KYC.
To complete this, first visit the official website.
Then, find the e-KYC link on the home page and click on it.
A new page will open. Here, you will need to enter your Aadhaar number.
Then, click the search button.
You will then receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Along with this, you will need to enter the OTP in the given box and click on submit.

The 21st instalment of ₹2,000 under this scheme was released on November 19, 2025. The money was transferred to approximately 9 crore farmers.
