Soon, you will be able to withdraw money from your EPF account using a card or by scanning your mobile UPI. A similar plan is being made under EPFO 3.0. But some questions remain: What will be the ATM/UPI withdrawal limit? How long will it take to withdraw money again?
With ATM/UPI withdrawals, employees can get money immediately in emergencies. This will help people who need funds for medical, education, or family reasons. The EPFO has also said that PF accounts will be made easier to use.

EPF ATM & UPI Withdrawals
Right now, there is no official news about the ATM or UPI limits. It is believed that ATM withdrawals may be ₹10,000 to ₹25,000, with 30 days before the next withdrawal. UPI withdrawals may be ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 per transaction, up to ₹25,000 per day. These are only estimates. The real limits will come later.
You cannot take out the full PF amount. PF is for savings and retirement, so only partial withdrawals are allowed. EPFO 3.0 will let you get money fast in emergencies. It will be easier to take cash online and offline. Every withdrawal will be linked to your UAN. Young workers will also get more financial freedom.
