Additionally, 995 purity gold (i.e., 23-carat) traded at ₹155,810 per 10 grams in the morning; by the evening, it had dropped by ₹720 to trend at ₹155,090 per 10 grams. Similarly, 916 purity gold (i.e., 22-carat) was seen trading at ₹143,295 per 10 grams at the start of market hours.
By the close of the day, following a decline of ₹661, it stood at ₹142,634 per 10 grams.
