New Renault Duster Launch & Bookings The Renault Duster, the original mid-size SUV that once ruled Indian roads, is officially launching in India tomorrow in its new and magical avatar. The new Duster is poised to give rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara a run for their money.
Equipped with powerful Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, and a powerful E-Tech hybrid engine, this SUV is not only muscular but also technologically advanced. If you’ve been waiting for this iconic SUV, pre-bookings are open for a token amount of ₹21,000.
Design and Road Presence
The new Renault Duster is based on its third-generation global platform but has been specifically tailored to suit Indian customers. Its front end features eyebrow-style LED daytime running lights that also double as turn indicators, giving it a premium feel. The grille has been completely redesigned, with the word “Duster” written in large, bold letters, reflecting its heritage.

Furthermore, the front profile features pixel-style fog lamps and silver-finished bumpers, reminiscent of the ruggedness of the first-generation Duster. Its aggressive wheel arches and impressive ground clearance give it the feel of a true off-roader, ready to conquer any terrain.
Interior and High-Tech Cabin
Renault has beautifully blended the cabin with a premium feel and the latest technology. A new three-spoke steering wheel with a piano black finish is included. The dashboard layout is fully digital, featuring a dual-screen setup. Ambient lighting and faux carbon fiber accents create a sporty feel.
For passenger convenience, it features a Type-C fast charging port, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and a massive panoramic sunroof, making the view even more spectacular during the journey.
Smart Features and Safety
The new Duster features a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 7-inch digital instrument cluster runs on Google OS, making navigation and other services extremely smooth.

Renault has spared no effort in terms of safety, offering six airbags and Level 2 ADAS, which helps drivers avoid accidents. Other advanced features include ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a powered tailgate, and a 360-degree camera, which make parking a breeze.
Powerful Engine Options
Renault offers the new Duster with three engine options to suit different needs. Its most powerful variant is a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that combines with two electric motors to form the E-Tech 160 hybrid setup. This engine produces 160 bhp and promises excellent fuel efficiency.
A 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine is also available that produces a massive 280 Nm of torque and is available with a 6-speed manual and dual-clutch automatic gearbox. For budget-conscious customers, there’s also a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 100 bhp and comes with a manual transmission only.
