The Bihar Government is continuously taking strong steps to economically empower women and promote them on the path of self-employment. In this direction, the Chief Minister’s Women Employment Scheme has been implemented effectively. Under this unique scheme, direct financial assistance of ₹10,000 is being transferred to the bank accounts of women to help them start their own businesses.

The objective of this scheme is not just to provide money, but to empower women to become self-reliant and stand on their own feet with confidence. Recently, the first installment of ₹10,000 under this scheme was jointly released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. IPRD Bihar has now announced future fund transfer dates for ₹10,000 per beneficiary to beneficiary women’s accounts.

Important Fund Transfer Dates

Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, an amount of ₹10,000 will be transferred to beneficiary women’s accounts at regular intervals. The Bihar government has made these fund transfer dates public to provide clear information to women. Beneficiary women can expect to receive the funds in their accounts on October 3, 17, 24, and 31, all of which are Fridays.

Fund transfers will then occur on November 7, 14, 21, and 28, and December 5, 12, 19, and 26, all of which fall on Fridays. However, slight changes to these dates are possible due to administrative reasons, so it’s important to monitor official information.

Interest-Free Loan of ₹2 Lakh

The primary objective of the Chief Minister’s Women’s Employment Scheme is to provide financial assistance to women for self-employment. In the first phase of the scheme, women are provided with a lump sum of ₹10,000. The biggest incentive is that, if a woman’s business is running well and has the potential for expansion within approximately six months, the government will provide her with an interest-free loan of up to ₹2 lakh.

Thus, the Chief Minister’s Women’s Employment Scheme not only provides initial financial assistance to women but also offers them a powerful opportunity to significantly expand their businesses and achieve true self-reliance.
