Bookings and Availability
If you’re considering purchasing the new Mini Cooper Convertible, you can book it now. You can book at authorized Mini dealerships as well as the brand’s online platform. Mini has ten dealerships across the country, located in Delhi, Gurugram, Pune, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. You can reserve this car by contacting your nearest dealership. The company has attempted to generate excitement among customers by opening bookings well in advance of the launch.

Design and Exterior
The Mini Cooper Convertible’s design follows Mini’s tradition, but it has its own unique identity. The car’s most distinctive feature is its electrically operated soft top. This feature distinguishes it from the hardtop version. You can open or close the roof even while driving at low speeds. This feature is very useful during sudden weather changes. The front of the car features circular LED lamps, a distinctive DRL signature, and an octagonal grille with black inserts. At the rear, the elongated Union Jack tail lamps are reminiscent of Mini’s British roots.
Interior and Features
Inside, Mini has retained its rounded theme, but the execution now feels more modern. The centerpiece of the cabin is a 9.4-inch OLED display that serves as both the infotainment unit and instrument cluster. Additionally, the car is expected to feature high-end equipment such as a head-up display, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and a Harman Kardon sound system. This car is not only designed for driving pleasure, but also offers all modern comforts.
Engine and Performance
Mechanically, this convertible version is no different from the MINI setup used globally. It features a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The car weighs slightly more due to the additional structural reinforcement required for the open-top body, resulting in a 0-100 kmph time of 6.9 seconds. This means the car is not only beautiful but also fast.

Side View and Proportions
Viewed from the side, the car shows only subtle changes compared to the regular Cooper. The fabric top, contrasting 17-inch alloy wheels, and black cladding around the wheel arches give it a comfortable and relaxed attitude. The car retains its compact proportions, short overhangs, and upright stance. It feels like a toy on the road, sure to turn heads.
