How many farmers benefited from the 21st installment?
During the 21st installment, a total of ₹18,000 crore was transferred to the bank accounts of approximately 9 crore farmers across the country. This money was sent directly to the farmers’ accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), eliminating the role of any intermediaries. According to government data, farmers have received benefits from 21 installments of this scheme so far.

What is the latest update regarding the PM Kisan 22nd installment?
The biggest question in farmers’ minds now is when the 22nd installment of PM Kisan will be released. No official date has been announced at the government level yet, but looking at the pattern of previous years, one installment is released every four months. Based on this, it is estimated that the 22nd installment may be sent to farmers’ accounts in February 2026.

What precautions are necessary to receive the 22nd installment?
If farmers want the next installment to be credited directly to their accounts without any interruption, they must keep their information completely updated. Completing e-KYC is extremely important, as the installment may be withheld without it. Linking the Aadhaar card to the bank account and ensuring that land records are accurate is also mandatory. If there are any discrepancies in this information, the payment may be delayed.

How to check PM Kisan installment status

If farmers want to know whether the installment has been credited to their account, they can check their status on the official PM Kisan website. On the website, they can enter their Aadhaar number, bank account number, or registered mobile number in the Beneficiary Status section to view the information. The screen will then display the farmer’s name, address, installment details, and Aadhaar verification status.
