Indian Railways has taken a big decision in view of the rush of passengers during the festive season. To take the passengers to their destination without any hassle, the Railways is going to run 150 Puja special trains from 21 September to 30 November. This decision will benefit the passengers traveling to and from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar the most. More than 12 thousand trains have been planned for Bihar, which is expected to provide great relief to the people returning home.

New train schedule released
Railways have released a new train schedule keeping in mind the needs and increasing demand of the passengers. Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria said that additional trips of regular trains will be operated so that situations like waiting lists and no room can be dealt with.
Trains with additional trips
In view of the heavy rush during festivals, the Railways has decided to run additional trips of many trains till the end of December. This will mainly include special trains between Valsad to Danapur, Jaynagar to Udhna, Dhanbad to Udhna, Patna to Udhna, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar to Patna, and Subedarganj to Udhna. These will be operated on various dates from 25 December to 30 December.
Passengers will get great relief
These trains will be of great convenience to migrant laborers and families returning home during the festive season. Usually, there is maximum crowd during Diwali, Chhath Puja, and Christmas. With this step of the Railways, passengers will get relief from the problem of long waiting and not getting tickets.
