Before Diwali, 35,000 People Will Get ₹50,000 from Government – Here’s How to Apply

Good news for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban beneficiaries. The 3,505 selected beneficiaries will get the first installment of ₹50,000 before Diwali. This will help them start building their homes. The second and third instalments will come later. The total amount for selected beneficiaries is ₹2.5 lakh in three instalments: ₹50,000 as the first, ₹1.5 lakh as the second, and ₹50,000 as the third.

PMAY Urban: 3,505 Beneficiaries to Get First Instalment Before Diwali

Across the district’s 13 municipalities, 18,080 people applied online for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. Teams from the District Urban Development Authority (DUDA) and the Revenue Department are checking all applications. So far, 8,321 applications have been verified. Out of these, 3,505 applicants are eligible, while 4,882 are not eligible.

9,693 applications are still under review. DUDA’s Project Officer and SDM Judicial Bhumika said the process is ongoing. The 3,505 eligible applicants will get the first installment of ₹50,000 before Diwali, which will help them start building their homes.

After the construction meets the standards, beneficiaries will get ₹1,50,000 as the second installment and ₹50,000 when the roof is completed.
