October Bank Holidays 2025
- On October 1, banks will be closed for Maha Navami in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana, Kerala, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Nagaland.
- On October 4, banks will be closed in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh.
- On October 7, banks will be closed in Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh for Valmiki Jayanti.
- On October 17, banks will be closed in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan for Karwa Chauth.
- From October 20 to 23, banks will be closed for Bhut Chaturdashi, Kali Puja, Diwali, and Bhai Dooj in several states including Bihar and Jharkhand.
- From October 27 to 28, banks will be closed in parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi for Chhath Puja.
- On October 31, banks will be closed in Gujarat for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.
