Bank of Baroda: Bank of Baroda has given a big gift to senior citizens. Usually, senior citizens are not able to go out much. In such a situation, keeping their problems in mind, the bank has launched a special savings account for senior citizens. Bank of Baroda has launched a premium savings account named ‘BoB Senior Citizen Special Samman’. This account is available only to those senior citizens who maintain a monthly average balance (MAB) of Rs 1 lakh. After opening this premium account, customers do not need to visit the bank.

According to a report, this premium account offers several benefits for senior citizens, including healthcare benefits and home banking. Healthcare benefits include free online doctor consultations (for up to six family members), discounts on medications and tests, and monthly home banking benefits.

Door step facility to senior citizens

Under this new premium savings account, customers will benefit from doorstep banking. This includes two free doorstep banking services per month, reducing the need for bank visits and allowing them to complete their work from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, customers will receive a free BOB Bhoomi RuPay Select debit card with this account, which offers a host of unique benefits, including free health checkups, airport lounge access, gym memberships, spa and salon services, golf, and OTT subscriptions.

According to the report, under the new savings account, customers will also receive a 50% processing fee waiver on reverse mortgage loans, a 20% discount on locker charges, and free NEFT and RTGS transactions. Additionally, customers will also benefit from a 50% discount on IMPS transactions.
