A significant step was taken by conducting a controlled head-on collision between two new Sierras. During testing, the two Sierra SUVs collided head-on. Tata Motors shared several points after the crash. In the car-to-car crash test, the Tata Sierra’s cabin maintained its shape after the collision.
The SUV’s doors opened smoothly after the crash. The fuel system remained completely intact. The crash test seat belts held and released properly. Furthermore, the car’s body structure remained strong. After the collision, it was observed that the front-impact zone was affected, but the impact did not reach the A-pillar.
