TVS m1 s 2026 Electric Scooter Teased With Impressive Design and Features

Electric vehicles are rapidly gaining momentum in the Indian automobile sector, and TVS Motor Company is leading the race. The company not only remains a leader in the EV segment in the Indian market but is also focusing on global expansion. Recently, TVS released a teaser for an updated version of its new electric scooter, the M1-S, which will be unveiled at the 2026 EICMA show.

TVS Motor Company made a strategic investment in Singapore-based electric mobility startup ION Mobility. Now, all of the startup’s assets, intellectual properties, and core team have been fully integrated into TVS’ operations. TVS has decided to rebrand the M1-S electric maxi scooter developed by ION Mobility under its own brand.

A model designed for the European market

TVS first teased this scooter on its Indonesian website in 2025, but now the 2026 model is being introduced for Europe. The company has confirmed that the scooter will be showcased at the 2025 EICMA show at booth I58 in Hall 8. This clearly indicates TVS’s rapid expansion of its electric product portfolio in international markets.

Major Upgrades in Design and Features

According to the teaser, the new TVS M1-S 2026 will come with a projector headlight setup and a new LED DRL signature, covering a larger area than the previous model. The dual-tone front fascia, long windscreen, flat floorboard, and single-piece stepped seat design have been retained. LED taillights and turn indicators, a single-piece rear grab rail, and 14-inch alloy wheels further enhance its premium look.

Promises Strong Performance and High Range

The 2026 TVS M1-S will feature a 4.3 kWh battery pack and a swingarm-mounted motor, producing 12.5 kW of peak power and 254 Nm of rear-wheel torque. Its rated torque is 45 Nm. On a full charge, the scooter will offer a range of approximately 150 kilometers. The scooter weighs 152 kg and has a 1,350 mm wheelbase.

The TVS M1-S features a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, a smart key feature, and 26 liters of under-seat storage space. It also features disc brakes on both front and rear wheels, telescopic front suspension, and rear twin shocks, ensuring superior ride quality.
