Toyota India has reintroduced its premium hatchback, the Toyota Glanza 2025, with new safety features and attractive design updates. This move will prove crucial in strengthening customer safety and trust. All variants of the Glanza will now come standard with six airbags. This update makes it one of the safest hatchbacks in the segment. Priced at ₹6.90 lakh (ex-showroom), it competes directly with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Tata Altroz.

A Premium Look

Toyota has launched a limited-period “Prestige Edition” exterior package for the Glanza, available until July 31st. This package is designed to enhance the car’s styling. It includes accessories such as premium door visors, body side moldings with chrome and black accents, rear lamp garnish, chrome garnish for ORVMs and fenders, rear skid plate, illuminated door sills, and lower grille garnish. This package will be installed through the dealer and will add a striking premium touch to the car’s appearance.

Features Reflect a Premium and Modern Touch

The Toyota Glanza features several advanced features that set it apart from other cars in its segment. It boasts a large 9-inch infotainment system, a head-up display (HUD), a 360-degree camera, and over 45 connected features. LED projector headlights, 16-inch sporty alloy wheels, and a two-tone interior give the cabin a premium feel. Features like rear AC vents and automatic climate control are also included.

Safety and Warranty

The Toyota Glanza now comes with six airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Hold Assist, and a high-strength TECT body structure. The company also offers customers a standard warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometers, which can be extended to 5 years or 220,000 kilometers. For customer convenience, a 60-minute express maintenance service and 24×7 roadside assistance are also available.

Powerful Engine and Excellent Mileage

The Toyota Glanza is powered by a 1.2-liter K-series petrol engine that produces 88.5 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. This engine is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. In terms of mileage, the petrol version delivers excellent fuel efficiency of 22.94 km/l, and the CNG version delivers 30.61 km/kg. The CNG model produces 77 bhp and 99 Nm of torque. The Glanza complies with BS6 Phase 2 emission standards and has a 37-liter fuel tank capacity.
