The world of electric cars in India is changing rapidly and now Tesla Model Y has achieved a new place in this race. The company has introduced the first major upgrade of Model Y without any noise, increasing its range to 661 kilometers now without raising the price!

Variant and Range
Tesla has introduced two variants of Model Y in India — Standard Range RWD and Long Range RWD. Of these, the company has increased the range of Long Range RWD variants from 622 Km to 661 Km.
Not only this, the new Model Y still supports 250 kW fast charging, adding a range of up to 267 Km in just 15 minutes.
New battery
The Tesla Model Y previously used a battery pack of 79 kWh if it comes to batteries, but now the company has upgraded it to 84.2 kWh battery. This new battery is made by LG, which gets more energy density and efficiency.
Although no change has been made to the motor — is the same powerful motor that delivers the car from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.6 seconds. Top speed is still 201 km/h, making it one of the fastest SUVs in its segment.
Standard Range
Let me tell you that Tesla has not made any technical changes to the Standard Range RWD variant. This version still gives a range of 500 Km and catches speeds of 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.9 seconds. This variant features 175 kW fast charging, allowing you to charge a range of up to 238 Km in just 15 minutes.
Price
Now talk about its price, then Tesla has not changed the prices of Model Y. Its Standard Range RWD variant in India is available in ₹59.89 lakhs (ex-showroom) and Long Range RWD variants ₹67.89 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The company is currently selling it from dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi, but orders can also be placed online. The special thing is that Tesla is also facilitating direct home delivery to customers.
