Design

Testing images of the Kwid EV reveal a slightly different design from the current petrol model. The front fascia has been redesigned, and perforations on the bumper clearly indicate this is the electric version. Furthermore, the Y-shaped DRL setup gives it a modern and stylish feel.

Its black wheel arch cladding, ORVMs and black wheel hubcaps are indicative that it may be mid-spec variant. However, door handles and antenna seem old-fashioned, feeling outdated as of 2025.

If this happens then it may prove to be the most economical and accessible option in EV segment.
