Renault Duster 2026 India Launch on March 17 – Comeback With Turbo & Hybrid Power

Renault Duster 2026 – SUV, once the pride of Indian roads, is now going to return in a new way. Yes Renault Duster 2026 is scheduled to launch on 17 March 2026 in its third generation avatar. After closing in 2022, this comeback from Duster is not just a new model, but a new hope for Renault.

The company is confident that this SUV can again place it in India’s bestselling cars list. This time Duster will look completely changed, not just in looks, but also in technology, power and features.

Third-Generation Duster

The India-spec model of the new Duster was introduced on 26 January 2026. Many changes have been made according to the Indian market, while retaining the siluette of the global model. On the front are given eyebrow-style LED DRLs which also serve as turn indicators. The grill has branding of ‘Duster’, without the Renault logo, which gives it a distinct identity.

Silver bumpers surround and pixels-style fog lamps make it even more muscular. Side profiles include black body cladding, rear door handles on the C-pillar, and roof rails weighing up to 50 kg. The 18-inch alloy wheels and 212mm ground clearance give it a real SUV stance.

Silver Accents with connected LED light bar, roof spoiler and black bumpers at the rear give it a sporty finish. Approach and departure angle are 26.9 and 34.7 degrees respectively, ie off-roading also has full power.

Engine Options

New Renault Duster will launch in India with two turbo-petrol engines. The first is a 1.0-liter turbo engine that will give around 100hp power, the same engine found in the Renault Kiger. The second is a more powerful 1.3-liter turbo engine that gives a segment-best strength of 163hp.

A 6-speed manual gearbox will be found with both engines, while a 1.3-liter engine will also have the option of a 6-speed DCT automatic. Means city traffic or long journey of highway, option is ready for both.

In addition, the 1.8-liter strong-hybrid engine Diwali can add to the lineup by 2026. It will be equipped with a 49hp electric motor and 20hp hybrid starter generator with 109hp petrol engine. Interior

The cabin offers a premium feel with soft-touch material, silver accents and green contrast stitching. The special thing is that physical buttons are also placed for the required function, which gives a user-friendly experience.

Features such as panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, powered tailgate and 6-way powered ventilated front seats make it stronger in the segment.

Safety

New Duster has left no stone unturned this time in terms of security. Six airbags will be found standard. Also, 360-degree cameras, front and rear parking sensors, TPMS, electronic parking brakes and disc brakes will be found in all four wheels.

Level 2 ADAS features have also been added, which will make driving safer and smarter. In today’s times when roads are busier than before, such features seem like relief.

Price and competition

Renault Duster 2026 could have a potential price of between 10 lakh and 20 lakh rupees. In this price range it will give a direct bump to mid-size SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate and Tata Sierra.
