The Ola S1 Air is designed for minimalism in style and application: smooth curves, a single-piece seat, and typically youthful vibrant colors. Light, practical, and very much city-handy, it is built for ordinary use. Urban streets can now accommodate this speed with comfort and great handiness, thanks to the superb handling given by its lightweight body. Vida V1 Pro can achieve a higher top speed of 95 km/h and feels much more stable because of the robust build and suspension setup. For long rides and stability, Vida takes the edge, while Ola feels more agile and fun in the city.
Both scooters have a lot of features in common, such as a touchscreen, multiple riding modes, Bluetooth connectivity, and OTA (over-the-air) updates. Ola centers on the smart aspects of ability to connect with the outside world, all placed in a clear interface. Hero, on the other hand, has some practical features like removable batteries and larger storage capacity apart from simple OTA updates and app controls.
The Ola S1 air was priced quite less at around ₹1.2 lakh, making it very affordable for the budget-conscious. The Hero Vida V1 Pro is priced slightly higher at around ₹1.4 lakh, but it justifies the price with higher range and removable batteries.
However, in terms of cost-effectiveness for city travel, you need an electric vehicle; the better choice will be the Ola S1 Air. However, if it is a longer range coupled with now much better premium usability, Hero Vida V1 Pro has more logic in it.
