Maruti Dzire, which surprised everyone by achieving a 5-star safety rating last year, has now come in a new hybrid avatar that will take care of both your pocket and the environment.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the hybrid version of its popular Dzire in the Philippines, and it is expected to hit the Indian market soon. This new hybrid Dzire has a new engine and hybrid technology, which puts it at the forefront in terms of mileage.

In the new hybrid Maruti Dzire, the company has given a 1.2 liter Z12E 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine produces 80 bhp of power and 112 Nm of peak torque. This engine will replace the K-series engine that has been used in Maruti cars for a long time. Along with this, the car also has a battery pack of 0.072 kWh and an electric motor with a power of 2.93 bhp. It will work like a 12-volt smart hybrid system, which will increase the mileage of the car tremendously. However, the company has not yet given its official mileage figures.

Safety and convenience

Along with making this car hybrid, some changes have also been made to it. This new car will come with a CVT transmission, while in India Maruti Suzuki only sells cars with AMT transmission. Safety standards have also been kept high in this car.

Talking about the features of Hybrid Dzire, it has a sharp grille and a sporty look at the front. Dual-tone color theme has been used in the interior of the car. Along with this, LED tail and headlamps, and AC vents on the rear seat have also been given.

Price: Will it rock the Indian market

Maruti Suzuki’s hybrid Dzire can set a new trend in the Indian market. This car will not only give great mileage but will also come with modern features and high safety standards. The price of this car in the Philippines is 9.20 lakh Philippine pesos, which is equivalent to about Rs 13.9 lakh in India.
