New Record

In September 2025, the Dzire contributed the most to the company’s sales. This month, 20,038 units of this sedan were sold, a 50 percent increase compared to September 2024. Sales in the same month last year were 10,853 units. This means that the Dzire has doubled its popularity in just one year. Due to its attractive looks, excellent mileage, and affordable price, this car remains a favorite among mid-range customers.

Maruti Swift

Maruti’s popular hatchback, the Swift, ranked second in sales. However, sales declined slightly this time around. In September 2025, the Swift sold 15,547 units, a 4 percent decline compared to the previous year. Despite this, the car remains popular among young people due to its sporty design and comfortable driving experience.

WagonR

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR ranked third with sales of 15,388 units in September 2025. This figure is 15 percent higher than the previous year. With its family-friendly design, spacious interior, and reliable engine, the WagonR remains a favorite car in Indian households.

Fronx and Baleno

The Maruti Fronx secured fourth place with sales of 13,767 units. However, its sales declined by 1 percent. The Maruti Baleno secured fifth place, but its sales declined by 8 percent. The Baleno sold 13,173 units in September 2025.

Ertiga and Brezza

Eeco and Grand Vitara

The Maruti Eeco, known as an affordable family van, sold 10,035 units in September 2025. However, its sales declined by 36 percent. Meanwhile, the Maruti Grand Vitara sold 5,698 units, a year-on-year decline of 45 percent.

Alto, Victoris, and XL6

5,434 units of the Maruti Alto were sold in September 2025, a decline of 37 percent compared to the previous year. 4,261 units of the Maruti Victoris were sold, while 2,170 units of the Maruti XL6 were sold. XL6 sales declined by 42 percent.

Maruti S-Presso, Ignis, and Celerio

Sales of the S-Presso stood at 1,774 units in September 2025, a decline of 42 percent. Meanwhile, 1,704 units of the Maruti Ignis and 1,033 units of the Celerio were sold. Sales of the Ignis declined by 32 percent and those of the Celerio by 68 percent.
