Kinetic Electric Scooter: To establish its dominance in India’s electric two-wheeler market, Kinetic has introduced a smart scooter that not only offers freedom from pollution but also represents the future of technology. Kinetic has partnered with Reliance Jio to launch an AI-powered electric scooter with a battery that lasts for 12 years. Amidst rising petrol prices and environmental concerns, this scooter is set to prove a tremendous value for money for the new generation and tech-savvy youth.

Battery will last for 12 years

This scooter, led by Kinetic’s Vice Chairman and MD, Ajinkya Firodia, took nearly four years of hard work to develop. Its most significant feature is its LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology. While most companies nowadays use NMC batteries, Kinetic’s unique battery boasts a 2,000 charging cycle capacity, which means it will last 10 to 12 years without any major failures.
Kinetic DX EV 
This technology not only lasts longer but is also considered very safe in heat management, reducing the risk of the battery overheating or catching fire during Indian summers. With a 2.7 kWh capacity, the battery offers a range of 100 kilometers on a single full charge.

Reliance Jio AI and Smart Connectivity

Kinetic has entered into an exclusive partnership with Reliance Jio, making this scooter a mobile smart gadget. Cloud connectivity and over-the-air (OTA) updates ensure your scooter is always up to date with the latest software. Its ‘MyKinetic Voice’ feature allows you to use voice commands in 16 different Indian languages.
In the future, this AI technology will allow you to check battery status and locate the nearest charging station using just your voice. High-tech features like location tracking, geo-fencing, and seat locking and unlocking via a mobile app make it one of the smartest scooters available today.

37 Liters of Storage and Emergency Button

This scooter has been specifically designed for urban commutes and everyday needs. It offers a spacious 37-liter under-seat storage, the largest in its segment, allowing you to easily store two helmets. The seat is wide and soft to ensure comfortable long-distance rides.
For safety, a dedicated emergency button is provided on the handlebars, which connects directly to a service center via Bluetooth in case of an accident or technical failure. This feature adds an additional layer of security for female drivers and solo travellers.

Benefits of Subsidies

Kinetic is rapidly expanding its dealer network in North India, with new showrooms opening in major cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, and Jaipur in the next 2-3 months. Government subsidies in cities like Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram make this scooter even more affordable.
Customers here receive substantial subsidies of ₹30,000 to ₹40,000, significantly reducing their effective price. Currently, two variants are available: the DX model priced at ₹1,10,000 and the high-performance DX Plus model priced at ₹1,17,000. The DX Plus variant offers a top speed of 90 km/h and advanced fast charging.
