Leading bike manufacturer Kawasaki has revised the prices of its motorcycle lineup in India. This change is due to the change in GST rates. Under GST guidelines, motorcycles above 350cc will now be charged 40% GST. However, no cess will be levied on bikes in this segment. This change directly affects Kawasaki’s sports, adventure, and dual-sport bikes. These changes have made the Ninja, Z, and KLX series more expensive than before. Let’s take a detailed look at the new prices variant-wise.
Kawasaki’s KLX 450 and 450R become more expensive

Kawasaki’s dual-sport bikes, the KLX 450 and 450R, are very popular among adventure riders. According to the new ex-showroom prices, the KLX 450 is now available for ₹9.92 lakh and the KLX 450R for ₹9.61 lakh. These bikes are considered perfect for long rides and off-roading.
