Hyundai Verna Facelift Price and Features: To establish its dominance in the mid-size sedan segment, Hyundai India has launched a new facelift version of its most popular car, the Verna. The new Hyundai Verna is now more muscular, tech-loaded, and safer than ever. The company has made over 25 major changes, including the segment’s largest infotainment system and high-tech features like SmartSense Level 2 ADAS. Priced at just ₹10.98 lakh (ex-showroom), the car now comes standard with seven airbags, giving it a significant edge over its competitors in terms of safety.
Sporty Design
The exterior of the new Hyundai Verna facelift now looks even more aggressive and premium. The company has introduced a new radiator grille with a dark chrome finish. For safer night travel, it has been equipped with dual LED projector headlamps and connected LED taillamps. The car’s front and rear bumpers have been made bolder than before, giving it a distinct road presence. Furthermore, new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels enhance its appearance. Measuring approximately 4.56 meters long, this sedan has a wheelbase of 2670 mm, which means there’s plenty of legroom inside the cabin.
Features
Hyundai has taken special care to ensure luxury within the cabin. It features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an equally large digital driver display, the largest in its segment. For music lovers, an 8-speaker Bose premium sound system has been installed. The 2026 model’s biggest highlights are its dashboard camera and surround-view monitor, which provide both safety and recording capabilities while driving. To give the cabin a premium feel, it features soft-touch leather seats and a switchable infotainment and climate control panel.
Powerful Engine and Speed
The new Verna comes with two powerful petrol engine options. The first is the 1.5-liter MPi petrol engine, known for its quiet and smooth driving. But the real thrill lies in the 1.5-liter Turbo GDi petrol engine, designed for speed enthusiasts. This turbo engine comes with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, which makes gear shifting lightning-fast. To make long journeys fatigue-free, it also features an 8-way adjustable driver seat (with memory function) and ventilated front seats.
SmartSense Level 2 ADAS and 7 Airbags
Hyundai has left no stone unturned on the safety front. Now, all variants of the Verna come standard with 7 airbags. In terms of technology, it features Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which includes features like lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, and blind-spot view monitor. These features not only help prevent accidents but also make highway driving much easier.
