The Vida VX2’s regular ex-showroom price is around ₹100,000. However, to offer significant benefits to customers, the company has introduced a BaaS (Battery as a Service) scheme, which reduces the price incredibly. By choosing the BaaS scheme, customers don’t need to purchase a battery, but instead rent it.

This reduces the price of the VX2 Go variant to approximately ₹60,000, while the VX2 Plus variant is available for approximately ₹65,000. The company claims a running cost of only 96 paise per kilometer, making it a highly economical option for daily city commutes.

Variants, Battery, and Range Details

The Vida VX2 is available in two variants: the VX2 Go and the VX2 Plus. Both feature removable batteries, making them easy to charge at home or in the office. The VX2 Go variant features a removable 2.2 kWh battery. According to IDC (Indian Driving Conditions), this scooter can travel up to 92 kilometers on a single charge and has a top speed of 70 kilometers per hour.

The VX2 Plus variant, on the other hand, is a premium option, featuring two removable batteries with a total capacity of 3.4 kWh. Its range increases to 142 kilometers, and it can reach a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The company claims that the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just one hour using a fast charger, compared to approximately six hours using a standard charger. The scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just 3.1 seconds.

Design and Features

The Vida VX2 is designed with practicality and daily use in mind. It may not look sporty or stylish, but it excels in terms of usability. The front features a dual LED headlight with integrated DRLs, similar to the Vida V2. The handlebars feature LED indicators, and the rear features an LED taillight. The scooter features a TFT digital display that displays key parameters such as speed and battery charge. It’s an economical and practical choice for everyday needs.

It has a large underseat boot space of 33.2 liters, which is ample for bags and other items. A small front storage compartment (frunk) is also provided for storing keys, chargers, and cables. Its long seat offers enough space for two people, making for a comfortable ride. The VX2 comes in seven attractive colors: Nexus Blue, Metallic Gray, Matte White, Autumn Orange, Matte Lime, Pearl Black, and Pearl Red.
