The bike is also special because it is the company’s first single-cylinder motorcycle to be built in association with Hero Motocorp. The Harley-Davidson X440 is available in three variants — denim, vivid, and S—, whose EX-showroom prices are ₹239,500, ₹259,500, and ₹279,500, respectively. Variants differ not only in features but also in finishes, wheel type and technology layers, allowing riders of every budget and choice to choose the model of their choice.
Design
The Harley-Davidson X440’s design is its strongest identity. On seeing the bike, first of all your attention goes to its wide and strong fuel tank, round LED headlight with the Harley-Davidson logo, and large body panel. This design not only gives retro eagle but also has a strong presence on the road. High and wide handlebars, single-pod instrument clusters, side-slung exhausts, and retro-style round indicators give the bike a classic American cruiser touch. In addition, its seven color options make it even more stylish.
Engine
The Harley-Davidson X440’s 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-and-air-cooled engine delivers 27 bhp and 38 Nm of torque. The special thing about this torque output is that it is available at very low RPM, making the bike smooth and torquey even at low speeds. This engine setup is perfect for cruiser bikes, as it supports a comfortable but powerful riding style. Whether it is city traffic or long highways, this engine fills confidence in every rider.
Performance
In terms of performance, the X440 is a strong player in its segment. Its engine gives practical power, making it easier to overtake, and cruising on the highway at a speed of 80–100 kmph seems comfortable. Its riding position, wide handlebar and grippy tires keep it stable even at high speeds. Despite weighing 190.5 kg, the bike looks balanced, and its low-end torque makes it easily manageable even in city traffic.
