Discounts
Maruti Suzuki India has announced impressive discounts on several of its cars for the month of October. This includes the company’s most affordable and popular hatchback, the Alto K10. This car offers a total of ₹107,600 in benefits. This includes tax benefits of ₹80,600 under the GST 2.0 reforms and other customer offers. The car’s starting price was previously ₹423,000, but after tax reforms and the company’s price cut, its new starting price is now ₹369,900. This means you can now save approximately ₹53,000.
Engine and Mileage
In terms of engine and mileage, the Alto K10 is powered by the company’s new-gen K-Series 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. This engine produces 49 kW (66.62 PS) of power at 5500 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 24.90 km/l for the AMT (automatic) variant and 24.39 km/l for the manual variant. The CNG model, meanwhile, has the best fuel efficiency of 33.85 km/kg, making it one of the most fuel-efficient cars in India.
Features
Maruti has added several advanced features to this hatchback to enhance the driving experience. It features a 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB, Bluetooth, and AUX connectivity. This is the same system previously offered in the company’s S-Presso, Celerio, and WagonR. Additionally, the new steering wheel design and mounted controls give it a more premium look.
Safety Features and Color Options
The company has also taken full care of safety in the Alto K10. Features like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) are standard. Additionally, it also comes with reverse parking sensors, pretensioner and force limiter front seat belts, speed-sensing auto door locks, and a high-speed alert system. Color-wise, the car is available in six color options: Speedy Blue, Earth Gold, Sizzling Red, Silky White, Solid White, and Granite Grey.
