The BMW F 450 GS will come in four variants — Basic, Exclusive, Sport and GS Trophy. Although the basic structure of these variants is the same, the features and electronic aids make them different. Some variants also get a standard by-directional quickshifter, which makes it very easy to change gears.

There is also a lot of discussion in India about its price. Given that the KTM 390 adventure costs around ₹3.95 lakhs, it is expected that the BMW F 450 GS can be launched in less than ₹5 lakhs. If this happens, this bike may prove to be an excellent value-for-money option in its segment. Especially given the BMW badge, premium adventure features and extra cylinder, its starting price ₹4.50 lakh is quite attractive.
