SUVs like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet in this segment have set a new trend in the market.

Tata Nexon
Tata Nexon has once again emerged as everyone’s favorite SUV. It recorded total sales of 22,573 units in September 2025, reflecting a spectacular growth of 61% from the 14,004 units of August 2025. It has an initial price of ₹7,31,890 (ex-showroom), making it one of the most value-for-money SUVs.
However the company has updated Nexon with dual-tone colors and high-quality interior materials. Talking about features, it includes advanced features such as 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, automatic climate control, sunroof, ventilated seats, and premium sound system.
Hyundai Venue
Hyundai Venue has also performed well in terms of sales. In September 2025 Venue sold 11,484 new units, a 41.62% increase from the 8,109 units of August 2025.
Venue remains a people’s favorite despite its compact size due to strong features, powerful engine and superb ride quality. Hyundai’s signature grill and LED DRLs also give it a premium look in its design.
Maruti Brezza
Also, Maruti Brezza may have been a little behind this time, but there has been no shortage in its fan base. Brezza sold 10,173 units in September 2025, compared to 13,620 units in August 2025. That is, a drop of 25.3%, but still this SUV still retains its place in the top-3.
Maruti has superior mileage, strong build quality and excellent connected features in Brezza, making it perfect for both urban and highway driving.
Mahindra XUV 3XO
Mahindra’s XUV 3XO finished fourth this time, but its growth was spectacular. Sold 9,032 units in September 2025, 63.59% higher than the 5,521 units in August 2025.
This SUV is becoming very popular among the youth due to its strong engine, sporty look and high-tech features such as panoramic sunroof and advanced infotainment system.

Kia Sonet
Kia Sonet also did wonders this time. It sold 9,020 units in September 2025, compared to 7,741 units in August. That is, an increase of about 16.52%.
Kia Sonet has joined the top-5 SUVs in this segment due to its premium interior, smart connectivity features and strong safety package.
