6 New Car: As August 2025 approaches, several carmakers are getting ready to introduce exciting new models in India. With the festive season around the corner, brands are looking to grab attention and boost sales with their latest offerings. From electric SUVs to sporty coupes and practical facelifts, there is something for every car enthusiast this month.

Volvo XC60

Volvo will reveal the prices of the updated XC60 in India tomorrow. This facelifted version gets fresh styling touches, new paint options, and an improved infotainment system. The SUV will continue using the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol hybrid engine that has served it well in the Indian market. Known as the brand’s best-seller globally, the XC60 now aims to appeal to buyers looking for a luxury SUV with updated tech.

Volvo EX30 EV

In addition to the XC60, Volvo may also introduce the smaller EX30 electric SUV this month. This compact EV is expected to feature a 69 kWh battery pack. If launched, it would expand Volvo’s electric lineup in India and offer another eco-friendly option to urban buyers. The EX30 will likely appeal to customers who want a stylish EV with advanced features and a good driving range.

Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe

Mercedes-Benz has officially announced August 12, 2025, as the launch date for the AMG CLE 53 Coupe. This two-door sports car is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six turbocharged petrol engine paired with mild-hybrid technology. It produces 449 PS and sends power to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Capable of going from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.2 seconds, this coupe is set to thrill performance lovers in India.

VinFast VF7 and VF6

Vietnamese carmaker VinFast is entering the Indian market with two electric SUVs — VF7 and VF6. The company recently opened its first dealership in Gujarat, and bookings are already open for both models. The VF6 is likely to come with a 59.6 kWh battery pack and offer a claimed range of up to 480 km as per WLTP cycle. The VF7 will be available in two versions globally, and its standard model provides 201 hp with a range of 451 km. A more powerful Plus version is also offered abroad, with increased output of 348 hp and 499 Nm torque, but a slightly lower range of 431 km.

Following the design changes introduced in the updated Triber, the new Kiger will also come with cosmetic upgrades both inside and out. However, it will continue to use the same 1.0-litre petrol engine with no mechanical changes. The Kiger facelift is likely to appeal to budget SUV buyers looking for refreshed styling and practical features.
