But now the 2027 Kia Telluride has come out in its new avatar, more attractive, more feature-rich and more powerful than before. Its new model was exposed at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, and at first glance Telluride made it clear that this SUV was going to be a big bang in the premium segment in 2027.

Bold and More Impactful
Since its first launch in 2019, Telluride Kia’s flagship ICE SUV has been. This SUV, positioned above Sorento, has now brought a completely new look. The new design sees more muscle, more width and more presence than before.
The biggest attraction in the front profile is its larger and more aggressive grille, which has vertically stacked LED headlights and vertical DRLs on either side. Heavy bumper, muscular bonnet and faux skid plates give the SUV a real off-road warrior feel.
Side Profile
Telluride’s side look comes with such a clean and flat glass area that it is reminiscent of Range Rover. Subtle floating roof design, flush door handles and thick D-pillar give it a better premium SUV appeal. The 8-spoke alloy wheels in the top variants give it a more exclusive look.
The rear also sees the Range Rover-style influence clean vertical tail-lamps, bold Telluride lettering and sleek lines making it a class-leading design.
Premium Interior
If you talk about the interior, the interior of this SUV is the largest highlight of the 2027 model. Inside you find a stunning 30-inch Trinity Display, which includes 12.3-inch infotainment screen, 5-inch digital climate control display and 12.3-inch full digital instrument cluster. This setup largely resembles Kia Syros and Syros EV.
Interior themes now feature real leather, real wood, real pool and metal accents, giving the cabin a feel like a luxury car. Telluride has now become not just an SUV, but a true premium lounge.

Kia has made significant changes to the engine this time around, replacing the 3.8L V6 engine with two new 2.5L 4-cylinder engines.

2.5L Hybrid – 329 bhp combined power, with a 1.65 kWh battery and electric motor
