Design

At first glance, the new Z1100 appears to be a redesigned version of the old Z1000. And to be honest, that’s not a bad thing. Kawasaki has retained its signature ‘Sugomi design,’ which gives the bike a predator-like stance. The dual-LED headlamps up front, sharp cuts on the sides, and aggressive tail section all combine to give the bike a very muscular look.

The standard variant features fully adjustable Showa springs. The SE variant gets an Ohlins S46 monoshock with a remote preload adjuster.

Price and Competition

If the Kawasaki Z1100 comes to India, it will compete directly with the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which costs ₹13.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Therefore, it’s expected that the Z1100 will be priced in the same range.
