2026 Kawasaki Versys 1100 launched: Now with more powerful engine and advanced features

Kawasaki introduced the Versys 1100 in the Indian market in February 2025, replacing the Versys 1000. Now its 2026 model has become even more refined and powerful than before. The company has updated its engine to provide tremendous improvements in ride quality and smoothness. The Versys 1100 is designed specifically for riders who want both power and comfort even while traveling long distances on the highway.

Engine and performance

The new Kawasaki Versys 1100 features a 1,099cc inline 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine generates power of 133hp and torque of 112Nm. It features a 6-speed gearbox and return-shift transmission, making the gear changing feel extremely smooth and controlled. It has seen a larger jump in performance than the old Versys 1000.

Kawasaki has tuned the Versys 1100, especially for long touring and cruising. Its ECU (engine control unit) is now more optimized, making fuel efficiency even better than before.Along with this, the bike has a large 21-liter fuel tank, so that you do not have to stop at the fuel station again and again. That is, this bike not only gives power but also maintains mileage.

Advance Safety Features

Kawasaki has paid considerable attention to safety and control in the Versys 1100. The bike has three high-tech safety systems that make it an advanced machine. The first is KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), which maintains better grip on slippery roads. Second, KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), which retains the stability of the bike while taking the corner. Third, KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Brake System), which ensures smooth and safe braking.
