Talking about features, the biggest surprise feature of this time is Cruise Control, which was not seen in any bike in the 125cc segment till now. The Hero Xtreme 125R will become the first sporty bike in this segment to feature. The Cruise Control system is derived from Hero’s recently launched Glamour X bike. The cruise control toggle button is provided on its right hand switchgear, while the left hand switchgear provides controls for the LCD screen. The bike features a color LCD display, which will also feature smart features such as Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call / message alerts.
Lighting and technology
The new Hero Xtreme 125R is equipped with full LED headlight, taillight and indicators. It also includes safety features such as Hazard Light Function and Auto Emergency Brake Light. Apart from this, now the bike also has a USB Type-C port, so that you can charge your mobile on the go. Overall, this bike has now become more modern and tech-friendly than before.
Engine and Performance
Now, let’s talk about the engine and performance. Hero hasn’t made any changes to the engine setup of this bike, as its existing engine is already considered reliable. It features a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 11.4 bhp of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, which provides smooth gear shifting and better highway performance. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear, making the ride even more comfortable.
