UIDAI National Data Hackathon: Data science and technology are the fastest-growing fields today. Therefore, if students get the opportunity to work on real-world data and also earn attractive prizes, it is nothing less than a golden opportunity. This opportunity has been brought by the UIDAI Data Hackathon 2026, launched by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in collaboration with the government. This national-level online hackathon will give students the opportunity to work on Aadhaar -related data and win prizes up to Rs 2 lakh.
What is UIDAI Data Hackathon 2026?
This is a national-level online hackathon in which students will be provided with anonymized data sets related to Aadhaar enrollment and updates. By working with this data, students will extract insights that can help inform policymaking and system improvements.

What to do with the data?
Participants will analyze the data provided to identify trends, patterns, abnormalities, or future signals. Simply put, they will use the data to find answers that can improve the Aadhaar system.

What is the eligibility to participate in the competition?
Any student who is studying in any recognized university or institute in India.

Minimum age 18 years (as on 1st January 2026).
Participation can be individual or as a team.

Team size maximum 5 members, with a team lead required.
People associated with UIDAI or NIC cannot participate in it.

Step 2: Click on “Login to Participate”

Step 3: You will be redirected to JanParichay
Step 4: Login by entering username, password, mobile number, email ID

Step 5: After successful login, you will be redirected back to the event portal
First-time users will need to sign up on JanParichay, and registration is primarily based on their mobile number . After registration, update your email ID before logging into the event portal.
