UPPSC RO ARO Exam Date: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has revised the dates for the RO/ARO-2023 main examination. Previously scheduled for January 31 and February 1, the exam will now be held on February 2 and 3, 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on February 2, and in a single morning shift on February 3. This change has been officially communicated to candidates via a notice.

The previously scheduled dates for the main examination conflicted with the Subordinate Services Selection Commission’s Junior Assistant 2024 examination. The simultaneous scheduling of two major exams on the same day was causing difficulties for thousands of candidates. Consequently, candidates have repeatedly requested a change to the exam date from the commission.

How many candidates will participate?
A total of 419 posts will be filled through the RO/ARO 2023 examination. Based on the preliminary exam results, 7,509 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination. These candidates will now appear for the main examination on February 2 and 3, according to the revised schedule.

Complete Main Examination Schedule

The second shift, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, will consist of a subjective exam in Hindi and Drafting, followed by an objective exam in General Vocabulary and Grammar from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
