Train Cancellation Update: Winter has officially set in across the country. The chill is getting stronger, particularly in North India. Temperatures are plummeting quickly, which is clearly impacting the operations of Indian Railways. With the fog thickening, numerous routes are being affected. Trains are running behind schedule, and some are being temporarily rerouted for safety reasons.
As per the latest updates from the Railways, they have made the decision to cancel around 10 major trains for the upcoming month. Additionally, other trains are also facing disruptions. If you’re thinking about traveling by train these days, it’s crucial to check the list of cancelled trains beforehand.
Which trains have been cancelled?
The Railways has stated that the severe cold and heavy fog will disrupt the operation of many trains in North India. As a result, 10 trains have been cancelled. These trains will not be part of the schedule for the next month. This measure has been taken with the safety of passengers in mind. On routes where fog is especially thick, visibility is greatly reduced, raising the risk of accidents. Hence, this decision was made.

Train No. 18602/18601 Hatia-Tatanagar-Hatia Express will be cancelled from December 10 to January 7.
Train No. 58663/58664 Hatia-Sanki-Hatia Passenger will be cancelled from December 10 to January 7.
Train No. 58034/58033 Ranchi-Bokaro Steel City-Ranchi Passenger will be cancelled from December 10 to January 7.
Train No. 58665/58666 Hatia-Sanki-Hatia Passenger will be cancelled from December 10 to January 7.
Train No. 18085/18086 Kharagpur-Ranchi-Kharagpur Express will be cancelled from December 23 to January 7.

Train No. 13303/13304 Dhanbad-Ranchi-Dhanbad Express will be cancelled from December 23 to January 7.
Train No. 18631 Ranchi-Chopan Express – Cancelled till 24, 26, 28, 31 December 2025 and 2, 4, 7 January 2026
Train No. 18632 Chopan-Ranchi Express – Cancelled on 25, 27, 29 December 2025 and 1, 3, 5, 8 January 2026
Train No. 13403/13404 Ranchi–Bhagalpur–Ranchi Express – Cancelled till 6th and 7th January 2026
Train No. 68035/68036 Tatanagar-Hatia-Tatanagar MEMU will be cancelled from December 23 to January 7.
Train No. 13319/13320 Dumka-Ranchi-Dumka Express will be cancelled from December 23 to January 7.
