Farmers and traders must have accurate information on the latest market prices, as this influences sound trading and profit-making strategies. Today marked a rise in cash crops and stability for some commodities.

Prices of Cotton, Moong, and Sesame Rise

Cotton prices again gained momentum in several markets today, reaching near-record prices. Cotton prices hovered around the ₹7,000 mark in Ellenabad, Raisinghnagar, Pilibanga, and Anupgarh, while Suratgarh also witnessed similar strength. Moong prices reached a high of ₹7,790 in Pipariya Mandi, while they reached ₹7,430 in Anupgarh. The sesame market also brought relief to farmers today. The maximum price of sesame in Nohar Mandi was ₹25,500, and black sesame in Ellenabad reached ₹24,800, reflecting a significant increase in recent days.

Guar, Mustard, Peanuts, and Isabgol Prices

Guar remained strong in many markets today. Its maximum price was ₹4,502 in Anupgarh, ₹4,420 in Bikaner, and ₹4,446 in Gajsinghpur. Mustard also maintained its strong trend. Mustard prices reached ₹6,372 in Suratgarh, while bids reached ₹6,560 in Jaitsar. Bikaner market led in peanuts, with the price of the Sikaai variety reaching ₹6,401. Isabgol saw a significant jump in Bikaner, reaching a high of ₹12,225, while cumin prices reached ₹20,500.

Mixed Trends in Wheat, Millet, Paddy, and Other Crops

Wheat prices rose slightly in most markets today, reaching ₹2,550 in Pipariya, ₹2,558 in Sriganganagar, and ₹2,561 in Suratgarh. Raisinghnagar led the pack with ₹2,301 for millet, while other markets traded in the range of ₹2,000 to ₹2,200 per quintal. Paddy prices also showed mixed trends today. Pusa variety reached ₹3,484 in Pipariya, while regular paddy remained at ₹3,422 in Pilibanga. Cotton remained relatively stable today, reaching a maximum price of ₹6,700 in most markets. Prices for cotton were recorded at ₹4,951 in Bikaner and ₹3,950 in Pipariya.

Latest prices in major markets

In Sri Ganganagar, moong prices ranged from ₹5,305 to ₹7,605, while cottonseed arrivals were strong, pushing prices to ₹6,000 to ₹7,070. Guar was sold at ₹3,000 to ₹4,400 in the Nohar market, and sesame hit a high of ₹25,500. Black sesame reached ₹24,800 in the Ellenabad market, while cluster bean and moong remained firm. Cottonseed reached ₹7,245 in Suratgarh, and mustard traded at ₹6,372. Prices for all commodities also varied in Bikaner, Anupgarh, Jaitsar, and other markets, depending on regional demand and crop quality.
