The Test series between India and South Africa is now over. Team India suffered a crushing defeat in it. However, South Africa’s tour of India is not over yet. A three-match ODI series will now be played. There isn’t much time between the Test and ODI series. Therefore, you should note the complete schedule of the ODI series.
KL Rahul will captain Team India in the ODI series
The Indian team will now take the field for the ODI series. Team India captain Shubman Gill is injured, and therefore, he has been ruled out of the ODI series. KL Rahul has been given the captaincy in his place. The BCCI has already announced Team India’s squad for this series. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will once again be seen playing in this series. Former captain Virat Kohli has already arrived in Ranchi, where he has begun his preparations. The rest of the team will also arrive in Ranchi soon.
The first match of the ODI series will be played on November 30th. This match will be held in Ranchi. However, there isn’t much time between the Test and ODI matches. As we’ve already mentioned, Team India will soon arrive in Ranchi directly from Guwahati. Test players who are not part of the ODI squad will leave for their respective homes.
The final two matches of the India vs. South Africa ODI series will be played in December. The second match of the series will be played in Raipur on December 3rd. The third and final ODI match will then be played in Visakhapatnam on December 6th. Match timings are scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM. The toss will take place half an hour before, at 1 PM. The match will conclude around 10 PM.
