e-KYC deadline for the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana: The central government is implementing several schemes to benefit women. In response, the state government is also implementing special schemes to benefit them. Currently, the Maharashtra government has provided significant relief to women.
In fact, the Maharashtra government has extended the deadline for completing e-KYC under the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Women can now complete their e-KYC under the scheme until December 31st. Previously, the deadline was November 18th. On Tuesday, the Maharashtra government announced this and confirmed the extension.

Women receive ₹1,500
According to reports, the deadline for completing e-KYC for this scheme has been extended from November 18th to December 31st, following the instructions of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar. This scheme was launched by the Maharashtra government in 2024.
Under this scheme, women between the ages of 21 and 65 receive a full ₹1,500. This amount is available to those with incomes below ₹2.5 lakh. More than 23 million women have been registered under this scheme with the Maharashtra government.

E-KYC was mandatory
Under this government scheme, women receive ₹1,500. The Maharashtra government made e-KYC mandatory in September, giving beneficiaries time to complete the process. The government also issued a proposal in this regard.
