The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has launched a major recruitment drive for 41,424 Home Guard volunteer positions. The online application process has begun, and interested candidates can apply until December 17, 2025. This recruitment process includesa 20% reservation for women.

Educational Qualifications
Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass
Age Limit
18 to 30 years
Born no earlier than July 1, 1995, and no later than July 1, 2007
OBC/SC/ST receive 55-year age relaxation
Physical Standards
Male Candidates
- Height: 168 cm
- Chest: 79 cm without expansion, 84 cm with expansion
Female Candidates
- Height: 152 cm
- Weight: 40 kg
- ST candidates will receive 8 cm of height and 2 cm of chest relaxation.
Physical Test (PET)
- Men: 4.8 km run in 28 minutes
- Women: 2.4 km run in 16 minutes
Duty Allowance and Salary
Home Guard volunteers are paid based on their duty.
Duty allowance of ₹600 per day
The state government also provides a dearness allowance.
