Monsoon Update – Heavy Rain and Thunderstorm Warning for These States Next 12 Hours

Monsoon Alert – The monsoon has swept the nation, but now unseasonal rains have wreaked havoc. Several parts of South India are experiencing a spell of rain, bringing pleasant weather. Dense fog has enveloped the capital, Delhi, and the surrounding areas, causing inconvenience to pedestrians.

Furthermore, snowfall is occurring in the hilly areas of South India, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The increasing snowfall has now intensified the cold in the plains as well. People have started lighting bonfires and wearing warm clothing in the morning and evening.

Temperatures are also steadily dropping in the northeastern states, where the harsh winter is making life difficult. The IMD has predicted rain in several states.

Heavy rain warning in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, the situation in Kerala is not going to be good. An alert has been issued for five days of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many areas of the state, with the possibility of lightning. Additionally, intermittent rain has been falling at several locations in Andhra Pradesh since late last night.

A heavy rain warning has been issued for coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh until November 20th. A wind alert has been issued. Heavy rain is also expected in several locations in Tamil Nadu. Heavy rain is expected in several districts of the state on November 16th and 20th.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in Rayalaseema, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands on November 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th. Rain is also expected in many areas of Maharashtra and Telangana. Thunderstorms are also expected.

Weather in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has predicted a drop in temperature and an increase in cold weather in Rajasthan. Winter has already begun in most areas. In Rajasthan and Delhi, the cold will increase on November 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th. Apart from these, there is a possibility of an increase in cold with a drop in temperature in Uttar Pradesh also.
