The two-Test series between India and South Africa has begun. Meanwhile, reports are emerging that star chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav has sought leave from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for his wedding. He is currently part of the Test team in the India vs South Africa series and is part of the Indian playing XI in Kolkata.
When will he get married?
It is reported that Kuldeep’s wedding was supposed to take place earlier this year, but was postponed due to the delay in the completion of the IPL. According to media reports, Kuldeep Yadav is awaiting approval from the BCCI for leave for his marriage. The report, citing board sources, stated that the spinner has requested leave for the last week of November.
However, Kuldeep is part of the Test squad for the India vs. South Africa series and is included in the playing eleven for the first match. According to the report, the team management will assess the number of days Kuldeep needs and when his services will be needed before approving them. Kuldeep last played in the BCCI’s CoE in the second unofficial Test between India A and South Africa A. He took just one wicket in that match.
Prior to that match, he played one ODI and two T20Is in Australia. The wrist spinner is in excellent form in Test cricket, taking 12 wickets in two matches against the West Indies. He has been selected for the first Test considering the pitch at Eden Gardens. He will be playing alongside three spin all-rounders: Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, and Axar Patel. Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah are also playing in this match.
Due to his desire to keep personal matters out of the media spotlight, there’s not much information available about Kuldeep Yadav’s fiancée, Vanshika. According to multiple sources, Vanshika isn’t on Instagram at the moment, and Kuldeep’s loyal fandom often requests her to come on social media through their tweets on X. However, some media reports suggest that Kuldeep and Vanshika have been friends since childhood, and their engagement also took place in their hometown, Lucknow.
