Train Cancelled: Big news for train passengers. Train Cancellation Update: If you’re planning to travel by train in the upcoming days, this information is important for you. The railways have implemented some major changes this November. Remodeling and track repair work is currently taking place at the Shalimar station yard. As a result, several long-distance trains on this route have been cancelled, while others have been rerouted to minimize disruption to other services.

Reasons for Train Cancellations

Indian Railways consistently undertakes improvement and development projects at various railway stations. According to the latest updates, remodeling and track enhancement work is ongoing at the Shalimar station yard from November 12th to November 21st. This has impacted several long-distance trains traveling through the Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway.

To ensure the work is completed safely and on schedule, a total of 10 express trains have been cancelled, and some trains have been rerouted. The Railways has advised passengers to check their train status prior to departure.

Train No. 22830 Shalimar – Bhuj Superfast Express is cancelled on 15th November.
Train No. 22829 Bhuj – Shalimar Superfast Express is cancelled on 18th November.
Train No. 15022 Gorakhpur – Shalimar Weekly Express is cancelled on 10th and 17th November.
Train No. 15021 Shalimar – Gorakhpur Weekly Express is cancelled on 18th November.
Train No. 18029 Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Shalimar Kurla Express is cancelled from 12th to 19th November.
Train No. 12151 Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Shalimar Samrasta Express has been cancelled on the 12th, 13th, and 19th of November.
Train No. 12152 Shalimar – Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Samrasta Express is cancelled on the 14th, 15th, and 21st of November.
Train No. 20971 Udaipur City – Shalimar Superfast Express is cancelled on the 15th of November.

Train No. 18050 Badampahar – Shalimar Weekly Express will run only up to Santragachi on the 16th and 23rd of November.
Train No. 12101 Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express will extend its journey to Santragachi on the 18th of November.
Train No. 12102 Shalimar – Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Gyaneshwari Express will depart from Santragachi on the 20th of November.
Train No. 12905 Porbandar – Shalimar Superfast Express will reach Santragachi on the 19th of November.
