To commemorate this, a statue of Harmanpreet Kaur will be installed at the Jaipur Wax Museum, inside the Sheesh Mahal in Nahargarh Fort. The statue will be inaugurated on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2026. Harmanpreet Kaur is being honored for her role in helping India win the World Cup. This initiative is also being taken to increase women’s participation in sports.

Anoop Srivastava, founder of the Jaipur Wax Museum, says that Harmanpreet embodies the courage and confidence that shows that Indian women can lead, even on the biggest stage. Anoop Srivastava further added that the museum’s mission is not just to showcase famous figures, but also to honor those who have played a significant role in inspiring society.

Following the statue of Harmanpreet Kaur, this museum in Jaipur will feature statues of two World Cup-winning captains, including former Indian men’s team captain MS Dhoni. The museum also features statues of two cricketing legends, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.
