Tamil Nadu Board Releases 10th & 12th Exam Dates 2026: The annual board exams are about to begin in the country, and many state education boards have released their date sheets. On Monday, November 4, 2025, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Education (DGE) announced the dates for the 2026 Class 10th and 12th board exams. State Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi provided complete information about the Tamil Nadu board exams at a press conference. The Class 12 exams will run from March 2 to March 26, and the Class 10 exams from March 11 to April 6, 2026.

There will be no public Class 11 exams.
The state has cancelled Class 11 public exams from the 2025-26 academic year. Students will now only have to appear for the Class 10 and 12 board exams. The Tamil Nadu government has made this decision under the new State Education Policy 2025.
Class 12 Exam Time Table
The Class 12 Board Exams will be conducted from March 2, 2026, to March 26, 2026. The examination will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM.
Students will get time from 10:00 AM to 10:10 AM to read the question paper, and the exam will begin at

Class 10 Exam Time Table
The Class 10 Board Exams will be held from March 11, 2026, to April 6, 2026. The exam timing will also be 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM. Students will get 10 minutes to read the question paper and 5 minutes to verify their details. The exam will start at 10:15 AM.
