Aadhaar Card Update New Rule: If you are an Aadhaar card holder, this news may be important for you. UIDAI, the Aadhaar card issuing body, implemented a new rule in November. UIDAI’s aim in implementing this rule is to simplify and make the process paperless. The new rule will benefit millions of Aadhaar cardholders.

After this feature is implemented, Aadhaar card holders can update their details, such as name, address, date of birth, and mobile number, online through the MyAadhaar portal. The online system now verifies data from government databases like PAN and passport. In most cases, document uploads or personal verification will not be required. However, biometric updates, such as fingerprint scans and photo uploads, will require a visit to the nearest CST center.

E-KYC is mandatory
